Thresholds separate routine small gifts from reportable events. Party treasurers aggregate per donor and per line item where the rules require; independent candidates follow parallel schedules published by IEBC and ORPP.
Two thresholds matter most in practice:
- Donor disclosure threshold — once a single donor passes this cumulative amount in a cycle, their name, ID, and contribution become reportable.
- Line-item disclosure threshold — once a single expenditure passes this amount, the vendor and purpose are individually disclosable.
Sample figures on this preview site are illustrative — the platform will pull the gazetted limits via the ORPP and IEBC ingest pipelines.
