Statutory Safeguards: Political Parties Act
Kenya's legal framework imposes mandatory floors and ceilings on how public political funds are deployed:
Sec 26(1)(a): Max 30% on Administration
CeilingNot more than 30% of total PPF allocation may be consumed by administrative overhead and staff payroll.
Sec 26(1)(e): Min 15% on SIG Inclusion
