Terms of use

Acceptable use of exports, attribution, rate limits, and limitations of liability for civic data products.

  1. Do not use the service to harass individuals or publish unverified defamatory claims.
  2. Respect rate limits on public exports and API endpoints; bulk scraping may be throttled.
  3. Data is provided as disclosed to regulators; verify against original ORPP filings before legal reliance.
  4. Attribution: “Data from Campaign Finance Watch Tool” plus access date when publishing charts or tables.
  5. The service is provided “as is” without warranty; we are not liable for indirect loss from use of aggregated data.
