IEBC & election finance

Commission responsibilities for candidate registration, spending caps, and post-election audit samples — alongside ORPP for party-level data.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) sits next to ORPP in the political-finance architecture. ORPP regulates parties; IEBC regulates candidates and the polling itself. Together they cover the end-to-end paper trail from registration to results.

IEBC publishes notices on expenditure periods, candidate lists, and dispute-resolution timelines. Its interface with ORPP ensures party-level aggregates reconcile with ballot data used for PPF distribution after each general election.

County election managers coordinate local monitoring; this site does not replace IEBC portals — it links out to official sources wherever they are available and ingests their published extracts via the data pipelines.
