We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA–aligned patterns: keyboard navigation, contrast, predictable focus, and screen-reader-friendly structure.

  • Skip link to main content on every page template.
  • Logical heading order (H1 once per view; section headings nested).
  • Form labels, errors, and aria-live regions for async validation (when backend ships).
  • Charts and maps paired with downloadable tables or CSV where feasible.
  • Motion: respects prefers-reduced-motion for transitions and chart animations.
  • Colour contrast reviewed for default and blue-card themes; high-contrast mode on roadmap.
